Jasmine and Emile met in 2006 whilst both on a trip to the Gold Coast and happened to be in the right place at the right time. "Emile had travelled from Sydney with friends and I had travelled from Brisbane with girlfriends." So it was fitting that their proposal was another little getaway, this time to Singapore. We went to dinner at a restaurant at the top of Marina Bay Sands. After an amazing meal we went outside to have a drink it was there Emile proposed with the most incredible evening view looking over the city lights of Singapore.

GOLDS THE WORD | The theme was white and gold. "I knew basically what theme I wanted to go, I had lots of saved photos and pictures for inspriation. After meeting with wedding planner and stylist Alysia from Celebrations by Alysia we clicked and she saw exactly what I was after. Alysia and I got along so well and she was the perfect partner to help me prepare such a big day." Flowers used throughout the day were White Ranunculus, Roses, Lisianthus, Scabiosa, White Phalaenopsis Orchids, and Babies breath. A 7 metre arbour filled with baby’s breath that framed the bridal table. "I loved white flowers and how fresh and angelic they can look, Kelly from The Bella Bloom Co created something magical."

GREAT EXPECTATIONS |  White with gold foiled invitation books were sent to guests. "We had so many comments on our invitations, they felt they defined what was to come…and they did."

BLOSSOM SEASON | A large cherry blossom tree was placed outside where guests enjoyed canapes which when carried through to smaller versions of cherry blossom on the long tables in the reception room.

HEARTFELT MOMENTS | Butterflies were released on the day. Jasmine's dad has passed away and his ashes are at the church. "Once everyone had left Emile and I took a moment next to my Dads’ plark and relased a butterfly each. Butterflies have such a special meaning to me and this was a nice moment to have my new husband share with me." Alysia had arranged this for me and I was truly touched how loving and caring she is towards everyone.

Jasmins cousin and aunt had arranged to have one of her Nanna’s lockets with a picture of her dad in it and placed in her wedding bouquet.

THE ROOM REVEAL | Alysia had arranged for Jasmine and Emile to see the room before their guests. "We walked into the room and were blown away by it. It was such an emotional moment for both Emile and I. It was beyond perfect and more than I had imagined for our day. As we entered we were amazed by all the decorations and also the beautiful scent throughout the room." U Light Me Up Candles were scattered throughout the room and provided a scent that they will never forget. "Everyone commented on how beautiful the room smelt."
