The Architecture of Emotion: Inside Blanc Bridal’s Sydney & Melbourne Showcases

The Architecture of Emotion: Inside Blanc Bridal’s Sydney & Melbourne Showcases

There’s a certain hush that falls when a Blanc gown enters the room. It’s not the silence of reverence, but of recognition that instant knowing that this, right here, is what modern bridal couture is meant to feel like.

For Creative Director, Brittany Zajitz, the woman behind Blanc Bridal, each gown is more than fabric and form, it’s architecture woven with emotion. “I want every bride to feel like her gown was built for her soul as much as her silhouette,” she shares. “It’s about honouring her energy, her movement, her story.”

This November, Blanc Bridal brings its sculptural poetry eastward with a two-city Trunk Show Tour, inviting brides, stylists, and the industry’s inner circle to experience the collection up close.

In Sydney, the InterContinental Double Bay will transform into an intimate atelier from 5–6 November, hosting private consultations by day and a twilight industry showcase by night, where the soft hum of conversation meets the rustle of silk.

A few days later, Melbourne takes its turn as The Savoy Hotel on Little Collins becomes the setting for a two-day showcase (8–9 November), culminating in an elegant Sunday soirée - an evening designed for connection, discovery, and a little champagne-fuelled inspiration.

Blanc’s latest collection embodies the designer’s core philosophy: intentional craftsmanship and emotional design. Zajitz’s work feels at once timeless and now with folds that speak, seams that listen, and silhouettes that command quiet attention.

Since launching in 2022, Blanc Bridal has carved out its place as one of Australia’s rising couture houses, dressing women who lead with clarity, confidence, and care. From her custom look for Bridget Hustwaite at the ARIA Awards, to the handcrafted gown of Julia Edwards, Zajitz’s design language continues to evolve; thoughtful, refined, and unapologetically feminine.

As Blanc Bridal prepares to unveil its newest chapter, this Trunk Show series offers something rare in the world of modern bridalwear: a moment of pause. A chance to meet the maker, to feel the fabrics, and to fall (not into trend) but into a gown that feels entirely your own.

Etoile Collection

“Every stitch has intention,” says Brittany. “It’s couture not just for how it’s made, but for how it makes you feel.”
